The Boyd S2615 Surgical Chair by Boyd Industries is a powered dental and medical procedure chair designed to provide stable patient positioning and ergonomic access for clinicians during oral surgery and other upper-body procedures. Its primary purpose is to support and position the patient comfortably while allowing the practitioner optimal access to the oral cavity and facial region during surgical or clinical treatments. The chair utilizes low-voltage electric actuators to control height, backrest positioning, and tilt functions, including Trendelenburg positioning, allowing precise patient positioning throughout procedures. The system also features programmable positioning, articulating headrest adjustments, and a cantilevered lift base for smooth movement and stability during use, making it suitable for dental surgery, implant procedures, and other clinical specialties requiring controlled patient positioning. Upon arrival of this unit, it underwent a complete inspection; visual and functionality. DOES NOT INCLUDE SEAT UPHOLSTERY. (Upholstery is blue shade) Foot Control: Corded, multi-function foot pedal permanently connected to the chair for controlling height, backrest, tilt, and programmed positions. NO MAJOR COSMETIC DAMAGE ASIDE FROM MARKS FROM PRIOR USE AND DISCOLORATION AT CHAIR BASE. Proceeded to attach to required power source (120V) power unit on with switch on back of base, did master safety switch, adjusted tilt, backrest, height, and pre programmed settings on chair. All responded with no complications. FINAL PRODUCT QUALITY INSPECTION STATUS- INCOMPLETE. USED AS-IS..
