Performed a visual inspection of the unit to check for any damaged or missing components and accessories. Noted damage to the fiber trunk in the handpiece area. Inspected the internal reservoir and found it to be empty. Refilled the reservoir with distilled water. Connected the unit to a 120V power outlet and powered it on. The system successfully completed its self-check sequence. Conducted a functional test using the Nova II wattage meter; power output is within expected parameters. Verified Lavage operation and confirmed it is functioning properly. The unit is operational. However, the damaged fiber trunk will require repair or replacement.
