Disassembled this autoclave down to the bare chassis, cleaned and rebuilt. Installed a new Reservoir Tank, Drain Hose and Condenser Coil. Installed a new Fill / Vent Valve Manifold Assembly, Air Valve Solenoid and a Refurbished Control Board. Cleaned the sterilizing chamber and installed a new Steam Block, Heating Element, Door Gasket, Dam Gasket and Mesh Water Filters. Installed a new Top Cover and Keypad. Cleaned the sterilizing trays and rack. Then proceeded to test the unit. Connected autoclave to a 120 volt power source, added distilled water and proceeded to test the sterilizer. Ran this autoclave thru all it's preset sterilizing and drying cycles several times. Temperature tested this sterilizer to verify that it is achieving it's maximum required sterilizing temperature using a Max Register Thermometer, and found this autoclave to exceed 273 F for an entire cycle. This sterilizer may exhibit a burning smell when running. This is due to a trapped odor within the insulation that surrounds the chamber inside the autoclaves cabinet. The odor is no cause for alarm and has no bearing on the functionality of the sterilizer.
