Tested unit by plugging both it and included Alienware laptop into power, connecting the two with an ethernet cord, and running the 3shape software on an atlas provided lower jaw mold. Unit worked well, provided an excellent render of the mold. Visually the laptop touch pad/ mouse buttons do not seem to work, and as such the provided wireless mouse will need to be used. Also the power cord for the charging base is functional, but electrical taped.
