It was put through an initial functionality test, to prove that it does indeed work. Once it was proven to operate correctly, it was disassembled down to it's bare chassis and cleaned and then reassembled . A new Water Pump Filter and Air Compressor were installed. The Reservoir Tank was cleaned and flushed. The sterilizing cassette was also cleaned and a new Cassette Seal was installed. Prior to running test cycles on this sterilizer, the temperature sensors were calibrated. Then this autoclave was tested through all it's preset sterilizing and drying cycles multiple times. To verify that this unit is achieving it's highest maximum required sterilization temperature, it was tested using a Max Register Thermometer and found to exceed 273 F while running a sterilization cycle.
