The KCP 2000 Whisperjet features dual abrasive chambers, as well as multiple propellant options and user-programmable presets. This user-friendly, convenient device allows preparation of most composite cavity procedures without anesthesia. It conservatively removes “stain” (the organic plug) from the bottom of grooves, facilitating visual diagnosis of pit fissure caries. Detected caries can then be immediately and conservatively eliminated using the whisperjet. The whisperjet simultaneously cleans pits and fissures and prepares the surface for bonding, allowing sealants to be placed in less time.
