Limitations/Considerations:
- The equipment must never be used if it shows any electrical, mechanical or radiation defects whatsoever. As all electro-medical devices, Orthoralix 9200 DDE requires correct installation, handling, maintenance and servicing in order to ensure safe and efficient operation. The unit features continuous operation (stand-by) with intermittent loading (X-rays).
- The tube-head contains mineral insulating oil. Such oil is potentially harmful in case of ingestion or contact with skin or mucosa. In case of a defect or fault, an oil leak can occur. Avoid direct contact with the oil and do not inhale its vapors.
- In case of minor leaks, the oil can be wiped away with a dry cloth, wearing protective gloves.
- Although compliant to the safety rules, it is a good practice for the operator to avoid to expose his eyes and patient’s eyes directly to the LASER beam.
