I connected power to the unit and initiated a standard boot sequence. The touchscreen powered on normally, responded accurately to input, and showed no signs of physical damage such as cracks, dead pixels, or calibration drift. I was able to connect the system to Wi‑Fi without issue. The unit contains an existing user account, and I do not have the passcode required to access the full software environment. During initial startup, the scanner subsystem did not respond as expected; under normal operation, the wand fan and LED array should activate briefly—approximately three seconds—during the initialization phase. I then placed the system into demo mode, which bypasses the account lock and allows limited scanner functionality. In demo mode, the scanner subsystem successfully initialized, the wand fan and LEDs activated, and I was able to perform both a test scan and capture an image. This confirms that the scanner board, wand, and imaging hardware are fully functional. Based on these results, the unit is operational, and the only restriction is the existing account lock, which prevents access to clinical software outside of demo mode.
