It was put through an initial diagnostic test to check it's functionality, and all major components were found to be working. It was than thoroughly went through and any mechanical issues were corrected. A new Safety Valve was installed. The Sterilizing Tray and Seal were also cleaned. Then to test this autoclave, it's included condenser waste bottle was connected, distilled water was added to the reservoir tank and it was connected to a 120 volt power source. This sterilizer was tested thru all it's preset sterilizing and drying cycles several times. Then to verify that it is achieving it's maximum required sterilizing temperature during a cycle, it was temperature tested using a Max Register Thermometer, and found to exceed 273 F during a cycle.
