Test notes
Unit was inspected for damage and missing parts. During visual inspection, the milling chamber door was found to be damaged. The damaged component was replaced with one removed from a parts unit. The replacement component has a crack on the back, but no leaks were observed during testing. Unit was connected to power and the CEREC computer for diagnostic testing. Serial communication, media supply, light barriers, sensors, and lighting were tested successfully. All six stepper motor axes were tested and operated as designed. Calibrated the unit. Calibration was successful. Both milling motors were tested at approximately 42,800 RPM with no unusual noises or vibrations. All completed diagnostic tests passed.
