This unit was inspected upon arrival and evaluated for physical and functional condition. Initial assessment revealed that the chamber door was damaged and had been previously repaired using silicone. The door assembly was replaced, after which functional testing began. The water tank was filled and the water pump activated. Water pressure was initially low, so the pump was disassembled and cleaned internally. After reassembly, the pump produced normal pressure. The left-side water jets were found to be clogged; these were cleared using a fine wire and CEREC cleaning solution. The machine subsequently completed calibration without issue. In service mode, diagnostic testing was performed. The left stepper motor failed the stiffness test and was replaced. A repeat test confirmed proper operation. During the Motoren Speed Test, both spindle motors drew higher-than-normal current. Replacement of both the power supply and the hardware PCB did not resolve the issue. Based on the consistent overcurrent draw from both spindles, it is likely that the spindle motor bearings are failing. No replacement spindle motors were available for installation. All remaining diagnostic tests passed without issue. Due to the spindle motor condition and inability to complete full functional restoration, this unit is deemed nonfunctional and is recommended to be sold for parts only.
