Initial testing of this autoclave reveled that it had numerus issues that needed attention before the sterilizer could be tested. All the known issues were taken care of, which included replacing the Door Switch, Power Switch and Multi-Purpose Valve. Then the Reservoir Tank was cleaned and flushed and a new Safety Valve, Condenser Coil, Air Jet Valve and Reservoir Cap were installed. Cleaned the sterilizing chamber and installed a new Door Gasket and Door Bellows Assembly. Cleaned the sterilizing trays and rack. To test this autoclave, it was first connected to a 120 volt power source, distilled water was added, it was then properly levelled as per it's chamber size requirement and then testing began. This sterilizer was run through cycles of 270 F for 10 minutes and 250 for 30 minutes several times. To verify that this autoclave is achieving it's maximum required sterilizing temperature during a cycle, it was temperature tested with the use of a Max Register Thermometer, and found to exceed 270 F during a sterilization cycle.
