It was put through and initial functionality test. Then it was thoroughly gone through and any issues that were found were corrected. This autoclave is in excellent condition with no signs of prior use, except that which occurred during it's testing. To test this autoclave, It was connected to a 120 volt power source, distilled water was added to the reservoir tank, it was properly leveled of correct chamber filling, the test cycles were run. This sterilizer was run through cycles of 270 F for 10 minutes and 250 F for 30 minutes several times. To insure that this unit is reaching it's maximum required sterilization temperature during a cycle. It was tested using a Max Register Thermometer and found to exceed 270 F during a cycle.
