Resources
The CEREC AC Omnicam is a computerized acquisition unit that uses a camera to capture a digital image of a tooth or impression model. This image can then be manipulated by the CEREC software and sent to an onsite CEREC milling machine or an offsite dental lab where a crown or restoration is milled.
Unlike the Redcam and Bluecam, the Omnicam requires no powder. It allows users to differentiate among different materials. As the camera moves over the teeth, a photo-realistic image is displayed in full color with crisp clarity.
